Architectural & Tree Uplighting
Architectural & Tree Uplighting
Uplighting that shows off your home’s architecture and your best trees — depth, drama and curb appeal at night.
- Facade, column and gable uplighting
- Tree uplighting and moonlighting
- Grazing and wall-wash effects
- Balanced, glare-controlled beams
Light the house, not the neighbours
Uplighting is what gives a home real presence at night — washing the facade, grazing stone and brick, and lighting columns and gables to add depth. On trees we use uplighting and moonlighting (fixtures set high in the canopy for a soft, natural glow below). The skill is in beam spread and aiming so it looks intentional, not like a spotlight.
Curb appeal that pays off
A well-lit exterior stands out on the street and makes a home feel finished and secure. We balance the whole composition so no single fixture screams for attention — just a home that looks its best after sundown.

Architectural & Tree Uplighting questions
How much does landscape lighting cost in Nashville?
Most professional landscape lighting projects in the Nashville area start around $2,500 and scale with the number of fixtures and the size of the property. Professional brass and copper fixtures with buried wiring and a properly sized transformer cost more up front than a big-box kit, but they last for years instead of a season. You get one exact quote after a dusk design walk.
Is LED landscape lighting worth it?
Yes. LED landscape lighting draws a fraction of the power of old halogen, runs cool, and the lamps last many years, so the running cost and the maintenance both drop sharply. We install warm, dimmable LED that looks natural — none of the harsh blue light people worry about — and we convert existing halogen systems to LED.
How much does professional Christmas light installation cost?
Professional holiday lighting is usually priced per project based on the size of the display and the rooflines and trees involved, and most packages include the design, commercial-grade LED lights, installation, take-down and storage. Because we handle everything and reuse the design year to year, later seasons cost less than the first. Book in early fall — installs fill fast.
When should I book Christmas light installation in Nashville?
Book in September or early October. Installs run from late October through early December and the calendar fills in that order, so the later you book the less choice you have over your install date. We hang lights before Thanksgiving for most customers and take them down in January — the takedown date is agreed when you book, so nothing is left on the roof into spring.
Do you take the Christmas lights down and store them?
Yes, and it is included rather than an extra. We take everything down in January, test and repair the strands, and store them labelled by the section of your house they came from. That is what makes the second year cheaper and faster than the first: the design already exists and the lights are already cut to your rooflines.
Do you use your own Christmas lights or mine?
Ours. We install commercial-grade LED strands cut to fit your rooflines, trees and columns exactly, which is why a professional display looks nothing like a store-bought set stretched to reach. They stay ours and we maintain them — if a section fails during the season we come back and fix it at no charge.
Can you put Christmas lights on a two-storey roof or tall trees?
Yes. Steep pitches, second and third storeys and mature trees are the usual reason people stop doing it themselves, and they are routine for us. Our crews are insured and work off ladders and lifts rated for the job — nobody should be on their own roof in December.
Do you repair or add to a landscape lighting system you didn’t install?
Yes. We troubleshoot dark or flickering zones, replace failed fixtures and transformers, convert halogen systems to LED, and add fixtures for new trees, beds or a patio on systems we didn’t originally install — then rebalance the transformer so everything runs at full brightness.
Can my landscape lights turn on and off automatically?
Yes. We install astronomic timers that follow sunset through the year so your lights come on at dusk on their own, and smart transformers you can control from an app or by voice — dimming zones, setting scenes and changing schedules without touching anything outside.
Do you install landscape and holiday lighting near me?
We install landscape and holiday lighting across Nashville and Middle Tennessee — Franklin, Brentwood, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Murfreesboro, Gallatin, Smyrna, Spring Hill, Nolensville and the surrounding towns. Include your address with your quote request and we’ll confirm.
